CBSA’s goal is to accelerate research that uses digital resources to understand and predict social, economic, business and government processes from the ground up. We will do this by providing and coordinating resources to enhance multi-college collaboration, the sharing of ideas, and innovation across the University.
For 2018-2019, CBSA will be focused on research relating to Mobility and Connected/Autonomous Vehicles (see our 2018 White Paper on SocioMobility). For information on related work at MSU, visit http://mobility.msu.edu
Unlike a traditional bricks and mortar research center, CBSA operates as a virtual entity. To promote collaboration and innovation, CBSA offers the following services:
- Seed Grant Program
- Social Capital Lunch Program
- Workshop on Autonomous Vehicles in Society, May 17-18, 2019
- Links to other centers and programs at MSU
